You Shoulda Been There! MacArthur Boulevard Association Annual Meeting and Holiday Feast Honors Local Schools, Outgoing Board Officers, Alderpersons.

December 9, 2022 by MacArthur Boulevard Association

By 7:45 the joint was jumping. South Side Christian Church once again provided the beautiful venue, Hy-Vee catered the sumptuous banquet, and MBA members brought their appetites and holiday cheer. Old friends and new members sat side-by-side as the principals of four area schools — Franklin Middle School, Black Hawk Elementary School, Butler Elementary School and Blessed Sacrament Catholic School — received checks and sincere thanks for their hard work all year long. The slate of new board members was approved by acclamation, outgoing board president Katie Davison, outgoing board treasurer Justin Creasey and outgoing secretary Denise Perry were given plaques thanking them for their yeoman’s work on behalf of the community. Alderwoman Kristin DiCenso and Alderman Joe McMenamin were thanked for their unstinting support of MBA’s mission.

Happy Holidays and Believe in the Boulevard!
