Bites on the Boulevard 2017

The MacArthur Boulevard Association is very excited to announce our 2017 Bites Season! We’ve invited our friends from the past couple years plus a few new buddies we’ve met during our hiatus.

This year, BoB will be the second Tuesday of each month, 5:00 – 9:00 pm, June – September, at District 23 (1413 South MacArthur Boulevard). That’s right, not one, not two, not three, BUT FOUR food truck meet ups this year. You. Are. Welcome. Upcoming BoB dates: June 13, July 11, August 8, September 12.

MBA sponsors one of our Neighborhood Schools at each Bites event.

Donations are accepted to help our “partners” with special projects and or back to school supplies.

  • June: Butler Elementary
  • July: Blessed Sacrament
  • August: Black Hawk Elementary
  • September: Franklin Middle School

Participating trucks so far include:

  • Az-T-Ca
  • Twyford BBQ
  • Fields of Sweets
  • Ryan’s Urban Bistro
  • Hy-Vee SmokeTruck
  • Cooper’s StrEATside Bistro
  • and more!

Excellent craft beer will be available from both Engrained and Rolling Meadows Brewery.
Water will be available from our friends at Delta Church.
Sodas will also be available at several vendors.

PARKING:

We encourage everyone who is able to walk ro ride their bike to this neighborhood event. Parking is available in neighborhood streets to the west but we aask that you be courteous and conscientous to our neighbors.

We encourage anyone choosing to park east of MacArthur to walk to the nearest cross walk either at Laurel and MacArthur or South Grand and MacArthur. Safety first!

CREDIT CARDS:

Many of the trucks do accept credit cards, however, a few do not. Cash is alwasys accepted and appreciated.

SEATING:

There will be tables and chairs, but you are welcome to bring your own chairs.

KIDS ZONE:

Delta Church and MacArthur Boulevard will be providing children’s activities.

Bites on the Boulevard 2017 will be the second Tuesday of each month, June through September.
